I don't know if we will translate this in class, but I happen to disagree with that on the philosophical level. It is quite possible to be happy before one is dead, e.g. Eric getting bacon= very happy! I think the quote is trying to say that no one is at peace until they die. That is vaguely true, since after you die, stress and conflict don't really matter anymore. Of course, if the person who died was particularly bad, then they will not be at peace. They will be in hell. Show me such a person and I can even show them which part they are going to.

P.S. I was worried that Dr. Matteo might not post something on account of the test, as i enjoy these tests of wit.
