Latin Club First Meeting Wednesday 15 September 8:15 a.m. 212. If for some reason Dr. Matteo is late, the Officers will call things to order. Our slate of Officers is--
Co-Consuls: Jeremy Kim & Samuel Powell (NJLHS)
Praetores: Emma Reif & Megan Snyder (NJLHS)
Tribunus: Samuel Moore-Sobel (by committee appointment)
Aedile: Kyra Brower (NJLHS)
Quaestor: CJ Capace
NJLHS means that this student was inducted into the National Junior Latin Honor Society. She or he kept an 93% average or higher for three semesters prior to our Spring Induction, plus a couple of other requirements (enrolling in Latin 4, 5 or AP for example). They can wear honors cords at graduation...but I'm not rushing them out!
If for some reason Dr. Matteo is late AND 212 is locked, the meeting can proceed on the sunny landing at the 200 x 500 intersection.
NEGOTIUM:
I. T-shirts (carry over from last year)
II. Float--we win, traditionally. We also have a left-over volcano to work with (thx Powell family!)
III. Other new ideas.
